COVID-19 Update: We Are Open
06/15/2021 Update: Per State of California guidelines any student that is fully vaccinated will not be required to wear a mask or facial covering. Masks are optional for those who are fully vaccinated but required for anyone not fully vaccinated.
With all the changes that have been happening due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we wanted to share with our students what we are doing during this challenging time.
We have had many healthcare providers and hospitals ask us to stay open to make sure they can stay compliant. Because of this we are remaining open to support the healthcare and first responder communities so they can focus on what’s important: patient care. Our Training Supports Life. We strongly feel that what we do is essential for workers in the healthcare community we serve.
Consider an Online Hybrid Option. We are adding more appointments for the online/in-person hybrid FastTrack classes where you can do most of the learning online. These offer the same AHA certification as the classroom- based courses but significantly reduces the in-person time.
We have always kept our class sizes small, but we are now reducing the number of students in each class to ensure social distancing. We are also disinfecting our equipment more often as well as regularly disinfecting busy areas. We also ask students to wash their hands often and use our provided hand sanitizer. All students are required to wear a cloth mask or bandana that covers their nose and mouth at all times during class.
As things progress, we will do our best to keep you informed via our website, email, and phone. Unless you hear otherwise from us, your classes will remain open as scheduled. We appreciate your support and understanding during this time.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
